My name is Steve Henley I'm 49. I was born and grew up in England. I now reside in Auckland New Zealand.
I am married to Alana and we have been married for 21 years. We have two daughters that live at home and are the apples of our eye.
I left school and completed an apprenticeship as an Electrician. I set up and ran my own electrical business when I was in my twenties and have been in various management roles over the last 20 years.
I have owned numerous motorcycles since I was 15. Trail, Enduro, MX, Naked road and Sport bikes. The longest I have been without a bike was 10 years. I had to swap the bike for a mortgage.

At 15 I got my first motorcycle. It was a Honda XL 100 and it was my pride and joy.
I had waited years for this and it was a dream come true.
It allowed me fun and freedom.

My first motorcross bike, Yamaha YZ 250. This was the first 2 stoke I owned. This was my first taste of real power............... and I liked it!
This bike was a wheelie machine and lots of fun
My Honda CRF 450 was great around the motocross track, in fact much better than my aging body
My Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6. The first bike I reached 300km/h. Very addictive and something my wife was not keen on.
My KTM SXC625 with 27 litre Safari tank. This was a great bike for off the beaten track and enabled me to become a gravel guru. I originally bought this bike for a big overland Australian trip.
