Once back in England there was one last place I wanted to visit before the end of my trip, it was the place that inspired the café racer motorcycles of the fifties. It was where the rockers would come to race. From This place they would head down and back the North Circular Road, near Wembley in London. The first one back was the winner. They would modify their bikes and come back to see who was the fasted bike and rider in town. This place is the famous Ace Café. It was a place I had always wanted to visit.
This trip has been a great adventure from the beautiful scenery of Norway, the magnificent Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the tranquillity, vastness of the open spaces. Observing ancient cultures, riding a camel through the Sahara Desert and staying the night in a Bedouin tent, catching up with family and friends. So many memories created, many highs and a few lows. These adventures incorporate all the things I love, motorcycles, history, scenery, cultures, challenges and the unknown
Now homeward bound to the place I love the most
